American Cottage is our name, and what a good name it is! American reflects the pride and acknowledgement of the many influences in our nation’s history that are embodied in American Cottage designs. Cottage because nothing is more symbolic of the New England landscape than the image of a clean, crisp, warm and inviting cottage dwelling, complete with a glistening white picket fence. Beyond New England, however, cottages dot the countryside in scenic mountain and coastal areas. There is something about the word “cottage” that denotes a retreat, a relief upon the simpler things of life. The culture of American Cottage, with its homespun images detailed in sophisticated designs, strives to capture that feeling in everything it does.

Jodi’s personal and professional life has brought her in contact with many special and talented people. She had dreamed of working with as many of them as possible when she launched her company. All her partners in American Cottage share her desire to organize this lifelong dream into a business enterprise dedicated to delivering quality products of original design at a great value.
